What We Offer. The Gabriel Dumont Institute offers a variety of university based, skills training, and basic education programs. All programs are offered in partnership with other educational institutions, and incorporate a Métis cultural component. BasicEducation.

On April 16, 2021, The Saskatchewan Book Awards (SBA) announced their final short-list nominees for GDI CULTURE AND HERITAGE Since 1980, GDI’s Culture and Heritage Department has produced more than 200 literary, cultural, and educational resources in print, audio, visual, and multi-media formats. In 2015, GDI created a new entity, Gabriel Dumont Institute Press (GDI Press), which focuses solely on book production. GDI Press is the only Canadian publisherthat
