Whilst fibre deployments and uptake are taking place at an increasingly faster pace in Europe, the EU is making a very significant - though uneven - progress in meeting its connectivity targets. RESOURCES : RESOURCES :: FTTH COUNCIL EUROPE The FTTH/5G convergence study released by the FTTH Council Europe in 2019 revealed that an optimally converged network for FTTH and 5G could eliminate between 65% and 96% of the cost of a standalone fibre network for 5G. At the FTTH Conference 2020 last December, an update was released. The new study considers the realistic scenario of MEMBERSHIP : BECOME A MEMBER :: FTTH COUNCIL EUROPE The annual membership fee for companies is 6.494,60 euros.
