Kids Cafe is a federal program operated through Freestore Foodbank which provides free, complete & nutritious meals to children at the end of the school day so that they aren’t going hungry in the evenings. Kids Cafe provides hot meals each week to 13 after-school sites in Hamilton County ( Kids Cafe. 1. 2. VIRTUAL HUNGER WALK 2021 The 18th Annual (Virtual) Hunger Walk & 5K Run will take place on Monday, May 31, 2021. The virtual event provides the Freestore Foodbank's 540 community partners including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, elder care and childcare facilities, community centers and residential programs with the opportunity to raise money to supplement their food operations.
