Marcella Polini Hazan (1924 -2013) introduced tech. 1996: Summer in Florence and Rome and the coast be. LEARN HOW TO MAKE AUTHENTIC ITALIAN COFFEE (ESPRESSO) Preparation: Italian Coffee. 1. First you will break down the moka pot into it’s 3 parts. Fill the bottom part with very cold water to the rim. 2. Fill the filter with the grinds to the top of the rim (do not pack it in). 3. Next float the filter with the grinds on top of the water (see pic below). 4. ANGEL FOOD CAKE WITH PINEAPPLE WHIPPED CREAM Slice the angel food cake into 3 layers. 2. Mix the pineapple and dry pudding mix together and gently fold in the cool whip. 3. Take the bottom layer of the cake and place on a plate or stand. 4. Spread the pineapple pudding mixture in between each layer. 5. Finish THE PERFECT SIDE DISH: GRATIN DAUPHINOIS Instructions. 1. Preheat the oven to 375 Degrees. 2. Take the garlic clove and rub it around the bottom of each dish you plan to bake, also grease the dish or dishes with butter. 3. heat the milk (1 1/2 cups) and 3/4 of the cream in a saucepan until you see the bubbles around the edges of the pan. 4. In a large dutch oven or big pot saute the onions with salt (about 3 teaspoons) in about 1/2 cup of Olive Oil. 4. SALTED CARAMEL BUNDT CAKE: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and lightly flour the inside of a bundt pan. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl and set aside. Using a mixer, beat the butter until creamy. Add the sugar and continue to mix until it becomes light and pale. RUSTIC ITALIAN BREAD AN EASY RECIPE THAT I INHERITED Technique 2. In a liquid measuring cup add 1/4 cup of lukewarm water, add the yeast and 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar. Check back in 10 minutes to make sure it has bubbled and foamed up. If it has then add lukewarm water up to the 2 cup mark of the measuring cup. FRUTTI DI MARE IS A POPULAR ITALIAN SEAFOOD DISH THAT YOU Frutti di Mare is a popular multi-seafood dish along the cost of Italy. Frutti di Mare literally means “Fruit of the Sea” and can include all types of seafood, including mussels, clams, prawns and other shellfish. VIN SANTO: A DELICIOUS ITALIAN WINE SERVED WITH DESSERT Vin Santo Characteristics: The typical color is amber with flavors that include nutty or raisin notes with honey and cream attributes. In Italy it is a traditional digestivo (digestive) served at the end of a meal after espresso. Most people will offer it with biscotti (cookies) that you can also dip into the wine. BAKING BLACKBERRY TARTS 4. Spoon a shallow layer of preserve into the tiny pans and spread around the bottom. 5. Add blackberries on top of the jam. 6. Bring a half pot of boiling water to a simmer and reduce the heat to low. 2. Place egg yolks, and sugar in a large, round-bottomed stainless steel bowl. This is the bowl that will go over the simmering water. 3. Add grated lemon peel and a drop of vanilla extract to the yolk mixture. 4. ITALIAN CREAM BUNDT CAKE This Italian Cream Bundt Cake is really lovely. I feel like the bundt version of the cake saves you time since you are not icing 3 layers. Bundt Notes: I used the Nordic Ware Platinum Non-stick Cast Aluminum Fleur De Lis Pan for this Italian Cream Bundt Cake. Icing Notes: I decided to make a thinner icing but it is thicker than a glaze. It’s cream cheese based mixed with whipping cream to MUSHROOM PUFF PASTRY TART Mushroom Puff Pastry Tart. This Leek, Mushroom and Goat Cheese Tart is perfect for Gatherings. Savory and Sweet Tarts are one of my favorite things to make and this mushroom puff pastry tart is delicious. KEY LIME TARTLETS WITH A GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST Instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a food processor, pulse the graham crackers until finely ground. Add the butter, sugar, lime zest, and salt and process until combined well. Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom and up the sids of a 9-inch tart pan or 6 tiny tartlets as I did. When you press the mixture use a flatbottom
