ARTISTS' STUDIOS
How are the _Shared Studios. Three Case Studies_ exhibition artists’ studios? The three case studies illustrate the diversity of relationships between artists and the permeability involved in sharing a working environment. In each one of the cases, two artists work in the same space: Enric Farrés Duran and Xavier Ristol in Sala 17 (Eixample, Sabadell), Tirso Orive Liarte and Aldo Urbano in Hangar (Poblenou, Barcelona), and Idoia Montón and Sinéad Spelman in Halfhouse (La Verneda, Barcelona). about "Artists' Studios" RUE BLOMET, A SPACE FOR POETRY Fundació Joan Miró Blog Miró dreamt of a large studio. At one point or another, all artists have dreamt of a large studio - a creative space that would enable them to build their utterly personal microcosm. Coinciding with the exhibition _Shared Studios. Three Case Studies, _which explores the experiences and affinities of artists working in the same space, we wanted to look back at one of Miró’s first studios, in the Paris of the 1920s, at 45 Rue Blomet. about "Rue Blomet, a Space for Poetry"ADLAN DOCUMENTS
The exhibition _Miró-ADLAN: An Archive of Modernity (1932-1936)_ reconstructs the key role of the group of artists and intellectual known as ADLAN (Amics de l’Art Nou ) in introducing modernity to the Barcelona of the 1930s, during the years of the Spanish Republic thanks to the AHCOAC (Historical Archive of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia), where a significant amount of extraordinary material has been preserved concerning the activities the group. This page shows a small sample of the documents that you will find in the exhibition. about "ADLAN Documents"SHARED MEMORIES
Inter-generational online proposal for seniors Images from the past often take us to other moments in time, awakening memories and arousing emotions. _Shared Memories_ is an activity proposal for seniors and for those family members or care home staff accompanying them. The starting point is a series of photographic images by Joaquim Gomis, which evoke specific times and moments in creating an oral narrative charged with anecdotes and recollections. The recordings can be heard on the YouTube channel of the Fundació. about "Shared Memories" THE PATHS TO THE FUNDACIÓ JOAN MIRÓ We propose venturing back onto some paths with historical, botanical or cultural interest to discover the hill of Montjuïc and reach the Fundació Joan Miró on foot. It is an opportunity to enjoy art and nature from the very outset of your visit. about "The Paths to the Fundació Joan Miró"THE MIRÓ AT HAND
_The Miró at Hand_ is a set of resources presented as small capsules made available to everyone, with the idea of inspiring us, encouraging creativity and drawing us closer to the work of Miró. You can enjoy these proposals on Miró, action art or the online activities for families in an open, flexible manner. The Miró is in your hands, it adapts to your pace. about "The Miró at Hand"MY MIRÓ
The Miró at Hand
New videos _My Miró_: a collection of video recordings made by members of the team, Friends of the Miró and collaborators, all of whom explain "their Miró". These anonymous readings have no academic or formalist biases, as they are made by non-experts. They invite museum visitors to make Miró their own, and to take what they find into a personal realm.
