VOLUNTEERS | ABOUT | FAIRBANKS MUSEUM & PLANETARIUM The Fairbanks Museum was founded in 1889 by St. Johnsbury industrialist Franklin Fairbanks. Inside our classic Victorian building, you'll find a dazzling array of animals and artifacts, dolls and tools, shells and fossils, and much more! VERMONT WEATHER FORECAST A mix of sun and clouds, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. A chance of a shower in the Hudson Valley, southwest VT, and the Berkshires late. Highs in the mid 70s to near 80. Winds south to southwest near 10 mph. Wednesday Night. Spring in Vermont brings a host of wild edibles, including common morels ( Morchella esculenta ). These delicious mushrooms are found through much of the North America. SOLAR ECLIPSE INFORMATION The August 21st solar eclipse is bound to be spectacular, and did you know that Vermont will experience a sixty percent eclipse? To celebrate the event, the Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium, in partnership with the Northeast Kingdom Astronomy Foundation (NKAF) and The St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, is hosting its own partial eclipseviewing event.

SOLAR ECLIPSE INFORMATION The August 21st solar eclipse is bound to be spectacular, and did you know that Vermont will experience a sixty percent eclipse? To celebrate the event, the Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium, in partnership with the Northeast Kingdom Astronomy Foundation (NKAF) and The St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, is hosting its own partial eclipseviewing event.
