During the week, Wales’ foremost poets and writers are welcomed to Y LLE CELF | NATIONAL EISTEDDFOD Y Lle Celf is the Eisteddfod’s visual arts gallery and it’s one of the most popular buildings on the Maes, attracting up to 40,000 visitors during the week. Y Lle Celf is a national celebration of visual arts and architecture in Wales, and an important shop window for the industry as well as being among the main attractions on theMaes.
GORSEDD CEREMONIES TODAY Six Gorsedd ceremonies are held annually: Proclamation Ceremony: This ceremony must be held at least a year and a day before the start of the Eisteddfod. The first copy of the List of Competitions is presented to the Archdruid by the chair of the local committee, and once this is done, the list is public and available for anyone thinking of competing. BETSAN MOSES APPOINTED NEW NATIONAL EISTEDDFOD CHIEF 8 February 2018. Today (8 February), the National Eisteddfod of Wales announced Betsan Moses as its new Chief Executive Officer. She succeeds Elfed Roberts who will retire later this year after over 30 years at the helm. Originally from Pontyberem in the Gwendraeth Valley, Betsan returns to the Eisteddfod after a period of almost tenyears as

GWERSYLLA TEULUOL / FAMILY CAMPING Bookings open 10:00 3rd February. Ceredigion and the town of Tregaron is home to the 2021 National Eisteddfod, which will be held between 31 July and 7 August. The Family Caravan and Camping Site will be located opposite the A485 to the Maes itself and within MUSIC (INSTRUMENTAL) Music (Instrumental) 62. Piano Accompaniment Competition. The competitors will be expected to accompany a piece for an orchestral instrument, and be able to accompany another piece set at the time. The second item will be a set piece. This competition will not be held on the pavilion stage. (a) Piece for an orchestral instrument. BETSAN MOSES APPOINTED NEW NATIONAL EISTEDDFOD CHIEF 8 February 2018. Today (8 February), the National Eisteddfod of Wales announced Betsan Moses as its new Chief Executive Officer. She succeeds Elfed Roberts who will retire later this year after over 30 years at the helm. Originally from Pontyberem in the Gwendraeth Valley, Betsan returns to the Eisteddfod after a period of almost tenyears as
