Train to Retain Train to Retain training support is now available on open application basis. The scheme is designed to support the retention of essential early-careers skills within the industry in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic and economic downturn. Last year we pledged to support more than 500 apprentices, trainees and graduates. THE ECITB INDUSTRIAL TRAINING LEVY The industrial training levy is calculated by applying the appropriate levy rate to the employer’s total annual labour payments. For employees and labour-only contractors who mainly work on sites in Great Britain or its offshore waters, the training levy is 1.2% of the total payments to employees and labour-only contractors during the base period 6 April to 5 April.
