AEM UEGO READS FULL LEAN At idle my aem uego wideband reads full lean with -- I just read on a different thread that putting the sensor in the rear o2 spot is too far away. Now I am curious if this is why it shows full lean at idle? It makes it difficult to try and get it setup with dsmlink. HOW MUCH HP WITH 20G About 475 crank HP. lbs/min.x10.86=BHP. I believe the 20G is capable of flowing 44lbs/min. Buschur got theirs into the 10's, nothing wrong with that! 20G is a great turbo but priced a bit high so the 50 trims became more popular and they flow 49lbs/min. REASONABLY PRICED BRAKE ROTORS THAT DON'T WARP I upgraded about 6 months ago to Duralast Gold 'high carbon' brake rotors using autozone semi-metallic pads and braking seemed much better over regular autozone rotors I had on there (that warped quite easily) and now these better rotors are warped already too!Car is 1gFWD 5-speed so curb

I hooked up the jumper cables the proper way no backwards crap or anything. When I bought this car almost 3 years ago it had some left over parts taken off by the previous owner. I have completely refreshed this entire engine and nearly every sensor that it uses. I am confused about a particular part in the left over bin that was in the hatch. If anyone knows what this WHAT OIL TO USE ON REBUILT MOTOR Mobil 1 is fully synthetic. There is no reason to worry about it. just ease into the motor for the first few hundred miles and give it an oil change. there will be more shavings than usual in the oil as everything gets broken in, that's why the first few oil changes need to be close together, but there is not reason to worry aboutsynthetics.
HOME PLUMBING WOES IN CAST IRON Maybe somebody here is a plumber. I'm waaaay deeper into a bathroom repair than intended. Turned into a full-on down to studs remodel. Anyway, I pulled the bathtub to find cast iron and lead piping and I have to replace them to install the new tub. I 1G - REMOVING ENGINE SPLASH SHIELD - BROKEN BOLTS I'm removing the left engine splash shield on the way to removing the lower timing cover and checking if the balance shaft belt has come off, this is post timing belt breaking and bent valves. (1990 GST) So far 2 bolts have sheared off out of the 6 or so that hold it in place.So 3 questions

In order to keep duty cycle under 80% you would need 1250's. Also without knowing what turbo he's running you can't even guess how much boost you need or fuel pressure to make 600whp. LONG INTAKE VS. SHORT INTAKE The difference is one has a really large plenum and about 1.5" more tube to reach the head than the other. The other has a smaller plenum and has shorter tubes. BATTERY LIGHT IS NOT COMING ON AT ALL...ALTERNATOR NOT There is a alternator "relay" (it acts more like a fuse) on the bracket where the stock boost control solenoid was/is. Your battery light on the dash also serves as a fuse. When one goes out, you have a backup. So if BOTH aren't working, it will not charge. Try replacingthe "relay."

The crankshaft counterweights actually balances out the opposite set of crankshaft counterweights instead, -because they are on perfect opposite sides. Same idea with thepistons/rods.

BUILD YOUR OWN O2 SENSOR SIMULATOR Put a new grommet in the hole in the floor to keep the water out. Step three: Cut the harness off of the O2 sensor as close as possible to have as much wire to work with as you want. Make sure to plug the empty O2 sensor bung. I went to AutoZone and got an oil drain plug (part# 050-090.1) Step four: Build the O2 simulator. PCV VALVE REMOVE OR NOT? Plug the intake manifold hole. Hollow out the PCV or use a fitting and run a hose to a catch can/filter, and let it vent to the atmosphere. Also have the other vent (on the passenger side of the valve cover) vented in the same manner. The link above outlines how you use the same catch can for both vents. Oct 5, 2004.
