The Embry Rucker Community Shelter (ERCS) is a 70-bed residential shelter that provides healthy, safe, emergency housing for individuals and families. We are dedicated to helping our clients overcome the circumstances that led to their homelessness, and facilitate their transition to stable housing. Cornerstones offers free ESL classes designed to help students improve their English speaking, reading and writing. PATHWAYS TO SUSTAINABLE EMPLOYMENT Cornerstones’ Pathways to Sustainable Employment program is designed to fill a gap in workforce development and job training programs that do not serve the needs of job seekers in the Herndon/Reston area whose education and skill levels put them at a disadvantage in the workplace.
