Concertgebouworkest takes part in national pilot with tested audiences. The Concertgebouworkest will give a live concert as part of a nationally organised series of pilot concerts and events, aimed at a safe and phased reopening of the cultural sector. The Concertgebouworkest has organised all its concert programmes in January to reflect the theme ‘Made in America’. Vast prairies, the chaos of the metropolis, mountains and forests, deserts and skyscrapers. The scenic diversity of the United States is infinite. Its population is equally diverse – a mosaic of culturalbackgrounds.

As a visiting teacher she has educated students at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. In 2019, Katy Woolley was appointed principal horn of the Concertgebouworkest in Amsterdam. Born in Exeter, Katy Woolley began playing horn at age ten. She studied with Sue Dent and, later, Simon Rayner. NEW MEMBERS TO THE MANAGING BOARD 26 August 2020.
