The Northern Lights, or the Aurora borealis as some call it, is nature's own gigantic light-show. It is a phenomenon that can be seen in both the northern and southern hemispheres (the Aurora australis, or Southern Lights appear in the southern hemisphere) if conditionsare right.

VOLUNTEERS - JOIN THE TEAM - CHURCHILL NORTHERN STUDIES CENTRE Volunteers are needed during these programming sessions for 4 - 6 weeks (6 weeks preferred, 4 week minimum). Minimum age is 19, and fluency in English is a requirement . Depending on our programming needs, there may be other opportunities available at other times of the year.
