UNIVERSITY CHAPTER OF KAPPA DELTA RHO SUSPENDED AFTER Last November, the Iota Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho (KDR) fraternity was terminated from the University on grounds of hazing, after having been previously reinstated nine years ago. The acts that occurred on Friday are completely contrary to the founding principles of the Beta Mu chapter. REFLECTING AND CELEBRATING THE UNIVERSITY’S 175 YEARS Feb. 5 marked the 175th anniversary of the University’s founding in 1846, sparking a number of celebratory acknowledgements and reflections. University President John Bravman emailed all students announcing the start of a year-long commemoration of the school’s founding.
