CRANKBROTHERS STARTS A STAMP COLLECTION Crankbrothers Stamp 7 and 11 | $150 and $300. Crankbrother’s existing Stamp pedal becomes the Stamp 7. The 7 and 11, being much slimmer than the 2 and 3, use outboard Igus glide bearings (bushings) in place of the Enduro bearing used on the Stamp 2 and 3, and there’s just a single, external seal. At just 11 millimeters thickat the center
TESTED: CONTINENTAL TRAIL KING II The 29-inch Trail King comes in 2.2- and 2.4-inch varieties, but for now the only 2.6-inch option is in a 27.5. Photo Credit: Ryan Palmer. The Trail King was easy enough to set up, seating quickly on my 30-millimeter-internal We Are One Agent carbon rims without the use of a compressor, and I topped them off to 23 PSI front and back to start. CAMPING KITCHEN EQUIPMENT TO USE WHILE BIKEPACKING An inexpensive and versatile option is the Primus LiTech Trek Kettle ($30; 285 grams), a 1-liter aluminum pot with lid and non-stick coating. The lid also serves as a tiny frying pan, and at 4.5 inches in diameter, this moderately-sized pot still packs away quite easily and holds a 230-gram gas canister. STEM LENGTH VS FORK OFFSET. 650b wheels with a 2.5 or 63mm tire. 44mm offset. that gives us 119mm trail. it is proposed in this thread that for 44mm offset that maybe a 45mm stem is required and 30 will be worse ok. so the critical numbers here are 119mm and 45mm. so 119/45 = 2.64. or 45/119 = .378. what happens when we go to 50offset trail. ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SCHWINN WORLD SPORT ROAD BIKE Vestal, NY. May 19, 2004. #1. I noticed today someone down the street had a Schwinn World Sport at the curb - free to take. I gave it a quick lookover, and it seems to be in decent shape needs a tuneup desperately, but no rust, dents, cracks, etc. I'm looking for a road bike, and while this is not my first choice, the price can't be beat. DEVINCI INTRODUCES THE NEW 2021 TROY Five or so years ago, the Devinci Troy was a kind of thrasher’s all-mountain bike. It had 27.5-inch wheels and a stout frame, plus a progressive leverage curve that was once Devinci’s signature, but now gets lost because the rest of the industry is kinda doing it FIRST RIDE: 2021 SPECIALIZED EPIC EVO The Specialized Epic Evo gets a ground-up treatment for 2021. While the last version was essentially an Epic with more travel and bigger tires, the new Evo takes those features and really makes them its own and drops 300 grams in the process. Bike magazine features the world's best Mountain Bike photos, videos, news, gear, reviews, trails, athletes, race results and much more. THE BEST MOUNTAIN BIKES UNDER $2,500 The annual drool-on-carbon show that is the Bible of Bike Tests is soon to launch, and with it, several dozen reviews of bikes most of us will never be able to afford. The good news: Most of the models reviewed in the Bible are offered in lower-end, more reasonably-priced builds that perform similarly to the dentist-spec versions we tested. REVIEW: BROOKS CAMBIUM C13 SADDLE At $220, the C13 isn’t cheap, but it’s actually priced aggressively when compared to other carbon-rail saddles. However, like all Brooks saddles, the term “lightweight” is relative. At 280 grams, the Cambium C13 is nearly twice the weight of a WTB Volt Carbon, which for comparison’s sake, goes for $250. Just to be clear, 853 refers to an alloy and Zona refers to a tubeset. Zona is actually made from the Nivacrom alloy which is more comparable to Reynolds 725. ANYONE ONE USE THE EXOGEN 4000 BONE HEALING SYSTEM I asked my Orthopedic surgen about it last year when I broke my Fibula. He said that he often used them with elite athletes (as in high paid pro basketball and football). He claimed that it would cut the healing time in half. ANYONE ONE USE THE EXOGEN 4000 BONE HEALING SYSTEM I asked my Orthopedic surgen about it last year when I broke my Fibula.
