BARBER OSGERBY
Lane, 2018 Mutina Porcelain stoneware Lane represents a natural evolution of Mews (2014). Its more exaggerated counterpoints of colour and tone developed from a study of London’s neighbourhoods and architecture - the pale tones of the Portland stone found in Marylebone, the darker greys that invoke the concrete of the Barbican Estate and the terracotta hues of Westminster’s VictorianBARBER OSGERBY
Barber Osgerby, Projects, 2017 Phaidon Barber Osgerby, Projects documents a body of work spanning more than two decades. The monograph is divided thematically into three sections. The first, Folded Structures, includes many of the early works, which developed from experiments using architectural model-making materials such as paper, card and balsa wood.BARBER OSGERBY
In the Making, 2014 Design Museum, London Curated by Barber Osgerby, In the Making presented a series of twenty-four everyday objects, from a cork stopper, a laptop , a pencil, a whistle, a football boot, a camera lens and the front of an underground train, to three pieces from the designers’ own portfolio. Critically each piece was unfinished, having been removed from the manufacturingBARBER OSGERBY

All of the key elements of the Tab Lamp were captured on paper in a matter of minutes, but it took four years of development to translate these into a finished product. In essence, the design consists of a simple stand and base, with a folded aluminium shade. A ceramic reflector addedBARBER OSGERBY
Tip Ton, 2011 Vitra Injection-moulded polypropylene The design narrative of the Tip Ton chair originated in an invitation to advise on the purchase of furniture for a new school. Intrigued by the discrepancy between active teaching and the static character of the school chair paradigm, the quest for a more dynamic, beautiful and visually memorable alternative began, that would draw onBARBER OSGERBY
Planophore, 2014 Vitra Oak, aluminium, tubular steel A shelf unit typically consists of two fixed verticals and a series of horizontals. Planophore breaks this convention by introducing movement and flexibility. Depending on their orientation, rotating vertical aluminium blades frame compartments to hold books or objects, create backdrops for display or transform an entire unit into a room BARBER OSGERBYSTUDIOCONTACT Barber Osgerby is a London-based industrial design studio established in 1996 by British designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.BARBER OSGERBY

Aes Table, 2017 Hermès Cast black bronze Evoking the extruded industrial forms of girders and rails, the monolithic top of the Aes table is supported by four cylindrical legs.
