ORIENTEERING
Orienteering is a running navigation sport, where participants use a detailed map to visit a series of check-points ( controls) as quickly as possible. The route is unmarked, and runners are free to choose their own way between check points. Top competitors are highly-trained athletes, capable of racing at high speed through rough forestedterrain.

WMOC 2021 EVENT IS TO BE HELD! If you look at cases in last 7 days in the whole world: 3. USA (NAOC July) 4. Turkey (JWOC in July 18. Canada 22. Hungary (WMOC, August ) 25. Czechia (WOC July) U.S. ARMY CHANGE TO LAND NAVIGATION IN BASIC TRAINING Reading a map isn't just about knowing one's coordinates. I would think that the military would be interested in assessing how exposed they will be to fire from various locations due to topography, assessing how protected from the weather potential sleeping locations are, assessing how physical (and even passable) a route will be, andso forth.

Saturday May 15 #. 10 AM. Trekking (Trail) 2:15:14 11.91 km (11:21 / km) +218m 10:24 / km. shoes: Salomon Speedcross Pro - Blue. Hike with 'Bent - ran the downhills but made a few stops in the first half as 'Bent used his phone to try to identify bird calls. It was another gorgeous day until ominous clouds started rolling in ourdirection.
