Greg Abbott and keeping guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control, the Athens Old Fiddlers Reunion Planning Committee is excited to announce the Fiddlers Reunion is back to its original design. The location of both graves and legends, Fuller Park, located in the southeastern area of Athens, was reportedly first established in the 1930s as possibly a campground for the youth of the Athens First Baptist church as well for campers from what was then the BucknerChildren’s Home.

A Payne Springs man will be sent to a state hospital after 173rd Judicial District Court Judge Dan Moore ordered Doyle Wayne Deason be evaluated for his competency to stand trial. That issue “can be raised by either the RAYBURN GUIDES CATCH FINES FOR OVER-THE-LIMIT, UNDERSIZED May 24, 2019. Three Sam Rayburn fishing guides were recently ordered to pay $2,700 in fines and court costs for their involvement in illegal fishing activity.
