THE UNIVERSAL 'SIX-STEP FORMULA' FOR EVERYDAY DECISION Step 3. Boundary Conditions. A decision maker must clearly define the primary as well as secondary goals the decision has to achieve. In other words, the decision has to be adequate to its purpose. And, more importantly, one should not depend on the decision that requires everything to go as planned. Step 4.
