On a busy day or night in Downtown Oklahoma City and Bricktown, you’ll often be entertained by free street performances, thanks to Out of the Box. In collaboration with Downtown OKC Partnership, ACOKC cultivates street performance art while enhancing the quality of life and cultural atmosphere of Downtown Oklahoma City. TALK OF THE TOWN ORCHESTRA The Talk of the Town Orchestra was formed in 1988 as a volunteer organization from the University of Oklahoma community to keep alive the Glenn Miller tradition of the golden era of the big bands and to bring entertainment to Oklahoma City area retirement homes, senior citizen centers, hospitals, civic clubs, and social service agencies.MIDDLE SISTER

Medium Swing is local pianist Holly Moorad and guitarist Corey Ray performing the classics of Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin. Both have performed many different genres and styles in their musical history. Now Medium swing set out to play the tunes they have anyways enjoyed as musicians. The Festival of the Arts is a community celebration of the visual and performing arts, bringing a variety of talented artists together in downtown OKC’s Bicentennial Park. Traditionally, Festival has been an OKC tradition since 1967, ANGELS & FRIENDS PARTY Angels & Friends is our annual fundraising event to support Arts Council Oklahoma City’s programs and initiatives such as Festival of the Arts, Opening Night, Twilight Concert Series, All Access Arts, and Art Moves. Save the date for Saturday June 5th, 7:00-10:00pm! FESTIVAL’S GOT TALENT Festival’s Got Talent performances are selected at auditions held before Festival. Three judges oversee the competition and select 1st and 2nd place winner to receive a prize pack. Audition registration deadline is May 14th. Auditions will be held May 18th & 19th. Festival’s Got Talent Finalist Performance is SUNDAY TWILIGHT CONCERT SERIES Join us every Sunday night, in-person or online this summer for the free 2021 Sunday Twilight Concert Series! FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS 2020 PAGE Due to the COVID-19 situation and in the interest of keeping the public safe and healthy, the 2020 Festival of the Arts has been cancelled. In its place, we’ll be doing daily livestreams and sharing our favorite Festival memories to our social media platforms.
