ONLINE LEARNING CENTER Online Learning Center. ACICS has partnered with MaxKnowledge to bring our member institutions a robust roster of coursework focusing on career education through the ACICS Online Training Center.This resource provides employee training and certification for career education institutions, offering over 200 online courses, each one providing four hours of continuing education credits. APPLICATION & SELF STUDY The self-study is the most important part of the process of accreditation and must be considered a major effort of the institution. It is not an endeavor that can be completed hastily. It requires time and careful planning. APPLICATION & SELF STUDY The self-study is the most important part of the process of accreditation and must be considered a major effort of the institution. It is not an endeavor that can be completed hastily. It requires time and careful planning. The self-study provides the institution with the opportunity to engage in a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of its ACICS GUIDANCE AND OPERATIONAL UPDATE Most ACICS colleges have moved to a distance education modality for a short period of time as the pandemic continues. The USDE has issued updated guidance – effective May 15, 2020 – for students who receive federal financial aid and have had their academic activity affected by COVID-19. Adverse Action. Adverse actions taken by the ACICS Council include denials of initial accreditation, renewal of accreditation, and reinstatement following a change of ownership/control, as well as a withdrawal by suspension. Adverse Actions can be appealed to the Review Board of Appeals as described in Section 2-3-600 of the Accreditation Criteria.No results found.
