CERTIFICATION PROGRAM DAANCE The Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination is a two-part continuing education program comprised of approximately 36 hours of self-study material and quizzes and a standardized, computer-based exam. This course is designed for oral and maxillofacial surgery assistants or assistants employed by other dental professionals NBME FOR OMS APPLICANTS AAOMS offers NBME CBSE for OMS applicants. To provide OMS applicants an opportunity to measure their understanding of the basic sciences and OMS training programs an enhanced mechanism to evaluate applicants for residency positions, AAOMS will offer the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) Comprehensive Basic Science Examination (CBSE) July 24-31, 2021. OMS FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES OMS Fellowship Opportunities. A fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery is a planned post-residency program that contains education and training in a focused area of the specialty.
