ICD REPLACEMENT, RECOVERY TIME? Re: ICD Replacement, Recovery time? As long as you are not having your leads replaced, the recovery time should be minimal. The most characteristic feature of HCM is a hypertrophied left ventricle (asymmetric thickening of the wall usually most prominently involving the ventricular septum) without abnormal enlargement of the ventricular cavities. RECENT NEWS
MEMBERSHIP
For the last 24 years, HCMA has provided a high level of service, support and advocacy to its members and supporters. In order to further increase our strength, the Board of Directors created two new membership options: Individual Membership and Lifetime Membership. These two new membership options will help both the HCMA and our members as we work towards a common goal. A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO Welcome to the NEW HCMA website and membership management platform. We have been working very hard over the last 6 months to create not only a beautiful, functional and intuitive website to help you understand HCM - we have built way more! This new platform will give you more ways to get involved, get support, access advocacy and information. You will be able to manage your HCMA membership, join committees, and communicate with others who are facing issues similar to your own. You will also be able to access HCM specialists with a few clicks and much more in coming months.Read More
