HOW TO FIX NO AIR FROM DASHBOARD VENTS Step 1 - Most air control vents are equipped with a flow control door that is located at the vent outlet. This door is controlled by a thumb wheel that when activated will open and close the vent air flow door. Work the thumb wheel from one side to the other while checking the airflow. The flow should stop and start again, if the thumb wheel AIR CONDITIONER AND HVAC WIRING DIAGRAMS: NEED AC WIRING The low and high side have sensors that can keep the compressor from engaging. BRAKES NOT WORKING AFTER BLEEDING AND NEW MASTER CYLINDER Brakes not working after bleeding and new Master cylinder/booster. I recently installed a new master cylinder and power booster, and one new set rotors, one set of new bearings, one set of new calipers, and 1 set of new brake pads on the front brakes for my vehicle. I bled the master cylinder, and bled all the wheels in the proper way. NO ECM SIGNAL TO FUEL PUMP RELAY The fuel pump relay works as it should. I always have power to Pin 30. I believe the ECM tells the relay to work via the green/black wire to Pin 85. This should happen for 2 seconds when the key is turned on. I have tested this when the issue is occurring and have confirmed that no signal is being sent from the ECM. A/C PROBLEM, BLOWING HOT AIR: I HAVE A 2006 GRAND MARQUIS If they are both hot, the heat in that vehicle is controlled by a blend door that regulates heated air flow. It is operated by an electric motor/actuator. The problem can be that the actuator is stripped or inoperative or the door itself could be damaged. This is what needs to be determined by examining the actuator and see if it isresponding

FUEL GAUGE IS NOT GOING BELOW HALF EVEN WHEN EMPTY I have an idea your engine stalls once the gas tank becomes half empty. If that is right, suspect a dry-rotted rubber hose on the pump assembly. That allows it to draw up air instead of gas. You can get to the pump by removing an access cover under the rear seat cushion. There's two

There is a horn relay in the fuse box on the left side of the dash, but it has a real low failure rate. Listen or feel it to determine if it is clicking when the air bag is pressed. If it does click, suspect failed horns or a broken wire going to them first. If the relay doesn't click, the first suspect is the clock spring. CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REPROGRAM: SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT On yours there is a thing called crank/cam correlation. Basically the ECM knows that the camshafts turn at half crank speed. It expects the cam sensor to send signal pulses in time with the crankshaft sensor so the proper cylinders get spark and fuel at the correct time. There is a reference circuit (voltage supply) and then a signal return circuit. So the TCM actually grounds the circuit but the way it knows what speed the input is going is by how fast the voltage is pulsing from around 1.5v up to 3.5v and back and forth with the teeth and gap of the tone wheel on the input shaft.
