Summer Camp 2020 For ages 4 to 12 June 1 – September 4, 2020 Children are taught in classes by age: (4, 5 – 6, 7 – 8, and 9 – 12) Register your kids for our SUMMER CAMP ALL GROWN UP June 17 2021 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Why should kids have all the fun? Treat yourself to all the joys of summer camp, but for grown-ups! Unwind after a stressful day with hands-on nature activities, crafts, and outdoor exploration, PLUS a simple snack and a refreshing beer from Saint Arnold Brewing Company for those ages 21+. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Naturalist staff will lead the way as students participate in daily themed experiments, nature encounters, hikes, games, and more! Dates start Monday, June 7th and go through August 13th. Volunteers require a minimum pledge of 20 hours for this program. Tiny Trekkers – Monday (9 am – 3 pm) pre-school group. Because we have a lot of native plants! Migrating birds need to shelter in trees, find nectar from flowers, eat berries from shrubs, and pick insects frombranches.

Adult Programs The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center encourages you to never stop learning and to have fun while you do it! We offer a variety of adult classes and social events, including nature workshops, birding and photography classes, and opportunities to experience the Arboretum at night. This is true at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center even though trees are not the most numerous species. Memorial Services The Arboretum provides a natural, tranquil setting to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one. The two locations at the Arboretum where memorial services can be held are Emmott Circle and the Lily Pond. In-person. After our original Spring Plant Sale sold out in less than a day, we decided to host a second one! You’ll be able to find a variety of native plants including grasses, flowers, shrubs, and trees – perfect for attracting butterflies, bees, and other pollinators to your yard or garden. ARBORETUM EARLY BIRD COFFEE Arboretum Early Bird Coffee This coffee is a result of a community partnership between local coffee roaster and distributor, Katz Coffee and the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center. As part of the Coffee Cause Program at Katz, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to theHouston Arboretum.
