2-D Interpolation. Interpolation can also be carried out in 2-D space. Given a set of sample points at 2-D points in either a regular grid or an irregular grid (scattered data points), we can construct an interpolating function that passes through all these sample points. Here we will first consider methods based only on regular grids and then those that also work for irregular grids. CUBIC SPLINE INTERPOLATION Cubic Spline Interpolation. All previously discussed methods of polynomial interpolation fit a set of given points by an nth degree polynomial, and a higher degree polynomial is needed to fit a larger set of data points. A major drawback of such methods is overfitting, as domonstrated by the following example. The CMS Facilities are expansive and cover most, if not all, of your sporting needs. A list of facilities can be found atHEALTH AND WELLNESS
The Office of Health and Wellness (OHW) promotes balanced lifestyles and student success through the nine dimensions of wellness: emotional, career, social, intellectual, spiritual, physical, identity, environmental and financial. The mission of OHW is to support and co-educate students as they strive to find and maintain their work-life balance and to provide them with the COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING The Office of Communications and Marketing advances the College’s mission and strategic vision through the design, development and implementation of strategic communications that inform, educate and gain support for Harvey Mudd. The unit encompasses public relations, marketing, publications, web design, development and content management, social networking and other visual media.RESIDENCE HALLS
There are nine residence halls on campus, each classified as either an “inner dorm” or an “outer dorm.” Most of the residence halls have unique legacy suites, many of which are responsible for playing music. The inner dorms are all U-shaped around a courtyard, with HMC COMPUTER SCIENCE The Harvey Mudd College Department of Computer Science graduated its first class in 1992.
