84 Posts. #4 · 4 mo ago. If I recall, the Protec 25 IS based on the CZ-36/45, but differs enough that there isn't always direct parts interchangeability. Intratec as a company never seemed to get firing pins right, every Intratec I own has gone through multiple firing pins. My Tec-22 eats them. REGARDING AFTERMARKET STOCKS FOR THE 995 2. TS can be used with HP's very handy buttstock mag holder. $10 shipped. 3. The warranty issue. 4. The TS to me is easier to grip , the ATI seemed kinda slick of surface. 5. The TS, being a HP product is warranted for life and that warranty is serviced promptly . ANYONE SEEN THIS HEADSTAMP? Winchester brass has WCC, WMA or 9mm Luger head stamps. If it also has a cross inside of a circle it designates it as NATO load. Without the cross it is simply a standard commercial load. Winchester uses whatever brass they have available at the time to run their lines with. The 14 is the year of manufacture ( 2014 ). WHAT AMMO TO USE IN A HI-POINT CARBINE? After reading several posts, I was wondering which ammo would work best in a Hi-Point carbine. CAN YOU SHOOT 380 AMMUNITION IN A GUN CHAMBERED FOR 9MM Further, the case diameter and case/overall length of the .380ACP allow it to "fit" in a 9x19 Luger chamber, even if it is 0.007 inches (0.05mm) "loose" in diameter and about 0.1 inches shorter. 1095 TERRIBLE ACCURACY Accuracy is limited by bad triggers. My 1095 had the typically terrible trigger that is associated with all HP firearms. It should be noted however that this one had sort of a first-stage takup that could be held over a second-stage break that was actually decent. This madeit

Theory: The .380 and the 9mm are basically the same gun. I think the specs for the chamebr and such are a "comprimise" between the needs of each round. I think the heavier bullet weight results in just a little more recoil and makes for a more positive cycling. That's not to say 115 gr. won't work. Just a personal preference.995 VS 995TS

When I bought my old style 995 it had a red dot scope on it, but the lens was chipped and it distorted the scope, so I put the iron sights back on. Actually I prefer the iron sights. I would not make it a habit of removing the barrel all the time, or you will "strip" out the holes that hold the pins in, giving you a loose barrel. You shouldn't need to take thebarrel

I would not make it a habit of removing the barrel all the time, or you will "strip" out the holes that hold the pins in, giving you a loose barrel. You shouldn't need to take thebarrel

WHAT AMMO TO USE IN A HI-POINT CARBINE? After reading several posts, I was wondering which ammo would work best in a Hi-Point carbine. I use 124 gr. of various brands: Speer Lawman, Aguila, Independence, American Eagle. I think the heavier bullet weight results in just a little more recoil and makes for a more positive cycling. 22. If you are using the standard 10 round mags expect them to jam with HPs but do great with FMJs. I mean the break in always sounds like a good idea but if you just want to feed HPs now, then I second the recommendation for those Redball mags. I fed 3 different brands of HP (Remington green and white box JHP, Silver Bear, and Barnes TAC-XPD IF YOU'RE 9MM IS JAMMING, READ THIS! A couple passes with a bore snake does the trick. Theory: The .380 and the 9mm are basically the same gun. I think the specs for the chamebr and such are a "comprimise" between the needs of each round. Since the .380 round is shorter, some C9's prefer 9mm rounds with a shorter OAL. CAN YOU SHOOT 380 AMMUNITION IN A GUN CHAMBERED FOR 9MM Further, the case diameter and case/overall length of the .380ACP allow it to "fit" in a 9x19 Luger chamber, even if it is 0.007 inches (0.05mm) "loose" in diameter and about 0.1 inches shorter. Sounds "safe" enough. However, there is another very important measurement: the case length. The 9x19 Luger is roughly 2mm (~0.1 inch) longer. AMMO QUESTIONS. 7.57R The 7x57R cartridge is the same as the 7mm Mauser Rimmed cartridge. It is the rimmed version of the 7x57, which was designed and developed for use in break-open rifles and combination guns shortly after the introduction of the 7x57 in 1892. The 5 rounds only thing would be pretty easy to do, depending on if you want to make it permanent or not. But all you would need to is remove the base on the mag and insert a spacer so when the spring is compressed it only hold 5 rounds. a 4-cell plus 2 utility pockets chest rig, simple X harness, horizontal mags.... that was the first one made, because I figured horizontal pull would be more ergonomic than the usual vertical stuff.... turns out given my body type, the mag handles stick out a bit far oh well, works good on plate carrier/flat people though...
