INVERNESS AIRPORT MASTER PLAN The Master Plan has been developed in consideration of the traffic forecast up to the year 2045. We accept that Covid-19 will result in lower than expected growth, at least in the short-term, but we do believe the expansion will be required regardless, just not over thesame time period.

The premium and drop off car park is close to the terminal building and stays of up to 10 minutes are free. Prospect served HIAL with formal notice late yesterday, Thursday 3 June 2021, that following their ballot for industrial action which closed at noon on Wednesday 2 June, they will be extending the air traffic control industrial action. We accept that Covid-19 will result in lower than expected growth, at least in the short-term, but we do believe the expansion will be required regardless, just not over thesame time period.
CONSTRUCTION OF COASTAL DEFENCES AT STORNOWAY AIRPORT Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) is proposing to carry out coastal protection along Broad Bay Beach to protect the infrastructure and future operation of Stornoway Airport. LIFT OFF FOR RUNWAY REFURBISHMENT AT CAMPBELTOWN AIRPORT The works will protect the long-term future of the airport and ensure lifeline and commercial services can continue to operate. Work is expected to begin in the autumn, following consultation which is currently ongoing with all local aviation partners, including the emergency services and Loganair.
