Technical Groups. Under the auspices of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society are 26 HFES Technical Groups concerned with the human factors/ergonomics aspects of specific application areas. These activities offer unparalleled opportunities to immerse oneself in new discoveries and breakthroughs in the field of human factors/ergonomics and benefit from opportunities to meet peers from around the world. HFES CONGRATULATES DR. SUSAN HALLBECK AND DR. ROBERT HFES congratulates Dr. Susan Hallbeck and Dr. Robert Radwin for being selected as Fellows of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA). Fellows status in IEA is conferred to recognize extraordinary or sustained, superior accomplishments of an individual and the candidate’s distinction as an ergonomics professional must be demonstrated. Candidates for IEA Fellow status must have been a SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY Research and support facilities available to students in the program: Numerous lab available to students with different focus: The Human Factors/Ergonomics Lab which has the capability of supporting student research in the fields of ergonomics, workplace design, usability, andinterface design.
ERGONOMICS IN DESIGN INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS Ergonomics in Design: The Quarterly of Human Factors Applications is a peer-reviewed publication that provides information on the applications and practice of human factors/ergonomics (HF/E) and informs readers about the contributions that professionals in this field make to improve the design of any system, tool, environment, or product with which people interact.
