PACCAR VS CUMMINS ENGINES I am unfamiliar with Paccar engines, all the engines I deal with are DT466's, C15, 3406E/B, Big Cams, Mack, and Now ISX. My question: A local individual who wether he knows or not talks like he does, he stated that the paccar engine in the T800 he just bought is the same as a cummins, not sure if he thought they are made by Cummins or designed by cummins, but not sure if this is true or not. LS170 STARTING ISSUES UPDATE: ok so after running the machine a few times i finally tracked down the problem. i was out yesterday doing some site prep work and it kept shutting off on me. i finally got pissed and started hitting the fuse panel and dash. it quickly recovered from shutting down! i removed the dash panel and low and behold a wire was loose on the end of the connector. i had to solder a lead wire fromBACKHOE HOURS
Hi all. New to the forum here, but really impressed so far. I am in the market for a 4wd backhoe such as a Case 580, JD 310 etc. I want something in the 1998-2008 range, with anCASE TCH FLUID
What case machine do you have? All Case manual shuttles use HTU presently. TCH is a light grade oil and the early manuals will tell you that you can use an ATF equivalent oil such as Dexron as an alternative, Certainly that would be more desirable tha 80/90 weightstuff.
CASE 1840 OIL IN CHAIN DRIVE For a Case 1800 series skid steer six quarts of just about any oil should be fine. If the old stuff is grey and goopy you have water getting in and need to replace the seals/gaskets on the top covers or stop running in two feet of water!! CASE TCH FLUID ALTERNATIVE?? From the PDF link above, page 2 .. Case IH Low Temp Hy-Tran Ultra MS1209 meets all performance requirements of the former Case MS1206, MS1210, and International Harvester B LABOR$$$ TO REPLACE UNDERCARRIAGE This an unknown material and time job. there are only 2 quotes to give him. 1.Materials and time component,(which you don't know yet),that would require a large mark up on both labour hours and materials. this will cover your butt(ass). CASE 1845C CHAIN CASE AND OIL. I bought a 1999 Case 1845C late last year. Finally got around to checking the chain case oil. The chain case oil on the left (when facing the front of the machine) was to the top of the chain and was milky white and thick. 310G BACKHOE CRANKS OVER BUT WONT START Hey everyone, I'm looking for a little help here if possible. The unit is a 310G and it does have an ECU. Things started out back in April with this backhoe that was misfiring due to a bad injector and had a leak in the fuel tank. Watched a Electrician take a jug of water and a grounding rod, pour a little water, wiggle and push down on the rod, worked for about forty five minutes and had that rod 6-7 feet in the ground,Wetted.

CAT, BOBCAT, OR KUBOTA SKID STEER? As others have said, a strong dealer is important. That being said, I have only been to the Bobcat dealer one time in the last 3 years. Get a low hour machine, and you probably won't be there very often unless he doesn't want or isn't able to do the routine maintenance things like oil changes or tire/track replacement. OLD EUC | HEAVY EQUIPMENT FORUMS 1 day ago · I went on a short weekend trip to the south of me and while traveling on RT 83 through Harrisburg, Pa spotted this old Euc dozer for sale. I did what any HEF member would do, pulled to the side of the road and took some pictures!SANY EXCAVATORS
The good point is that it is cheaper, and can probably do the job. With that said how are parts going to be in 5-10-20yrs? I was looking at a 1993 IHI IS 55 UX{believe that is the correct model #} the machine seemed decent BUT parts are hard to find and because it was a grey market {never sold in the US} dealers looked cross eyed when Iasked about it.
ADDING ANOTHER HYD VALVE 1 day ago · I put this in the skid steer form but didnt get a answer. I want to add another valve to operate a grapple on my 1830 case can a put a valve between the inlet hose and the valve thats on there already or one of those 12v diverter valves in the lines to the bucket tilte cylinders ? NEW HOLLAND SKID STEER L170 I have a 2005 New Holland L170 skid steer. We are having frequent problems when doing snow removal with the seat belt safety feature. Itwill lock up
