A taste of Healing Solidarity 2020. Our annual online conference is a week of conversations with activists, practitioners and thinkers interested in welcoming the change we need in international development practice, and figuring out how to care for ourselves and one other in the process. ABOUT US - HEALING SOLIDARITY We have since run another online conference, created an online space you can join here, run anti-racist practice groups for white people working in international development and have many more plans.. Our Advisory Circle formed in early 2020. They are: Esua Goldsmith, Jennifer Lentfer, Pontso Mafethe, Roshni Nuggenhalli and Swatee Deepak.. And in November 2020 we registered Healing Solidarity THE HEALING SOLIDARITY COLLECTIVE The Healing Solidarity Collective is a space to collective resource ourselves in healing solidarity. This is a space to take forward the conversations begun with the first Healing Solidarity Conference in September 2018, and to gather around the work of healing the sector both from injustice in our practice and the working practices that ABOUT US - HEALING SOLIDARITY Healing Solidarity now has a multi-racial collective of consultants that support organisations to build the “missing” skillsets which have been laid bare in the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic and #BlackLivesMatter uprisings around the world.. We help organisations build anti-racist practice and culture and work to usher in the political courage, cultural humility, and an ethic of DOWNLOADS - HEALING SOLIDARITY All resources for organisational use. £300. Downloadable audio and video files for the 2018 & 2019 talks, workbook & transcripts PLUS a workbook for organisations. All resources for organisational use. 400. These downloads of the previous Healing Solidarity conferences are offered in return for a contribution to the costs of thisinitiative.

You will by now have heard about the protests across the USA, and spreading across the world, in response to the extrajudicial murders in May of Breonna Taylor in Kentucky, Tony McDade in Florida, Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia, George Floyd in Minnesota, and the subjugation of Black bodies for GETTING OURSELVES TOGETHER Since early 2020, Healing Solidarity has supported pop-up practice groups for over 100 people in the global development sector who identify as white and who want to explore how to commit to and practice anti-racism.
