The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway was a hit with our whole family. It’s hard to describe how wonderful it is to ride in a gondola over the top of the rainforest. The Skyrail travels 7.5 kilometres over gorgeous rainforest, and it’s wheelchair accessible (check specifications for width restrictions). O'REILLY'S RAINFOREST RETREAT O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat attracts nature-lovers looking to embrace the great outdoors. Lamington National Park contains over 320 kms of walking tracks. Two are wheelchair accessible and easilyenjoyed by all.

BBQ BOAT HIRE PORT MACQUARIE BBQ BOAT HIRE ACCESSIBILITY. Port Macquarie has several boat hire companies. We chose Jordan’s because we’d used them before for stand-up paddle boarding and knew access was relatively easy. Parking is available at the wharf and there’s only a small step up to get on to the ramp for the boat. The BBQ boat was spotlessly clean and wefound
HAMILTON ISLAND ACTIVITIES The Hamilton Island dingys have a canopy which helps with the intense sun in summer. You can choose from a standard dinghy with pull start and tiller steering or premium with key start and steering wheel. We went with a steering wheel which kept Hubby under the shade. Take plenty of water, sunscreen and food.PUTT PLANET

LAKE MACQUARIE
Lake Macquarie Variety Playground at Speers Point Park is a fabulous inclusive playground. The fenced playground is extensive with many accessible features including a Liberty Swing (wheelchair Swing), water features, musical instruments, a quiet zone and PORT MACQUARIE'S ACCESSIBLE BEACHES As it’s name suggests, Town Beach is located in the heart of Port Macquarie. In my opinion it’s the most accessible of the beaches in the region. Town Beach Port Macquarie. The beach is level making it pleasant for a beach walk with the Sandcruiser. The beach wheelchair is kept in the surf lifesaver’s storage area under the Marine Rescue CRATERS OF THE MOON GEOTHERMAL WALK Taupo is home to a variety of geothermal attractions, The Craters of the Moon Geothermal Walk offers a 45 minute (depending on how many stops you make) accessible loop which allows visitors to get nice and close to the action. We visited on an overcast day which added to the atmosphere. The Craters of the Moon thermal area sprang up in the TIDBINBILLA NATURE RESERVE The Nature Reserve is a gem with its bountiful wildlife and accessible walks and definitely one to put on your list of wheelchair accessible attractions to explore when staying in Canberra. Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. A stop at the Visitors Centre is a must to purchase park entry ($12 per vehicle in October 2017) and to pick up a map of theHAMILTON ISLAND
