December 2016 The Board of Park Commissioners of Great Parks of Hamilton County recognizes that as plant and animal diversity has been impacted through land use changes in the region, there is need to preserve habitats which serve as reserves of the region’s natural heritage, as well as wild places for public enjoyment.. GET YOUR ANNUAL MOTOR VEHICLE PERMIT A valid Motor Vehicle Permit is required to enter the parks. Cost for residents of Hamilton County: $10 annual/$5 daily; other visitors: $16 annual/$8 daily. Otto Armleder Memorial Park & Recreation Complex and Fernbank Park are cooperative ventures with the City of Cincinnati; therefore, a Motor Vehicle Permit is not required.
