Meet the GCA Team. The Global Cyber Alliance is home to leading minds with extensive cybersecurity expertise gained across both the private and public sectors. As a truly global organization, our team lives and works on multiple continents and represents a diverse cross section of business, technical, policy, and administrative professionals. DOMAIN-BASED MESSAGE AUTHENTICATION, REPORTING AND DMARC stands for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance. DMARC is a mechanism that allows senders and receivers to monitor and improve protection of their domain from fraudulent email. Implementation of DMARC will ensure mail recipients can detect when spammers have spoofed the “From” address on mail messages. DMARC BOOTCAMP MAY 2021 GCA DMARC Bootcamp 2021. DMARC is considered the industry standard for email authentication to prevent attacks from malicious third parties sending harmful email using an organization's domain. By implementing DMARC, you lower the odds of your domains being spoofed and used for phishing attacks against others. DMARC is also an important defense COMBATING RANSOMWARE: A CALL TO ACTION Today the Ransomware Task Force, which I was pleased to co-chair, issued its report: Combating Ransomware.The Report identifies four goals and a series of supporting actions, with a combined 48 totalrecommendations.
