A partnership against global health threats Join the Partnership JOIN 67 COUNTRIES IN COLLECTIVE ACTION Read the GHSA 2024 Framework ------------------------- ABOUT THE GLOBAL HEALTH SECURITY AGENDAWHAT IS GHSA?
The Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) is a group of countries, international organisations, NGOs and private sector companies that have come together to advance a world safe and secure from infectious disease threats. Under the GHSA, nations from all over the world make new, concrete commitments to elevate global health security as a national leaders-level priority.HOW WE WORK
The GHSA works through four main mechanisms:1 – Member Action
Country Members make commitments under the GSHA to improve their capacity to prevent, detect and respond to infectious disease threats. GHSA membership provides support for implementation through advocacy, collaboration, information sharing and technical advice. 2 – Action Packages Action Packages are groups of technical experts on JEE capacity areas which provide advice, technical assistance and pursue agreed work plans aimed at country assistance.3 – Task Forces
Taskforces are time-limited project groups which pursue a surge-capacity project as directed by their terms of reference and theSteering Group.
4 – International Cooperation and Standard Setting GHSA hosts ministerial, senior officials and technical meetings to discuss current challenges and share information on progress towards greater global health security. -------------------------*
