2015. At the end of 2015, when a historic agreement on climate was expected at COP21, our association was present on all fronts at this international meeting, armed with the legitimacy it had won during 10 years of combating climate change.AFGHANISTAN

In Tajikistan, 29% of households live below the poverty line (1.9 USD/day) and the majority of them relies on remittances (49% of the GDP).Long and cold winters generate strong needs in energy for heating: 80% of the energy consumed by houses isfor heating.

SWITCH GARMENT SUPPORTS CAMBODIA’S COVID-19 RECOVERY Cambodia’s garment industry has suffered from the global economic slowdown, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Geres and its partners have been working hard to help the sector recover. 19 garment factories had already signed up to meet the sustainability challenge by mid-March2021.

Geres in Mongolia. The activities developed by Geres Mongolia all relate to energy efficiency. Geres first approach dates back to 2010, when it began developing a model of passive solar greenhouses for vegetable production. IMPROVING THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS IN The project to improve the energy efficiency of school buildings in Midelt province comes under the CEMAATERR programme, which aims to help reduce the carbon footprint and boost climate resilience in the rural territories and relay towns of Asia, West Africa and theMediterranean.
