GAZING IN
Buttercream Frosted Pumpkin Cake. A recipe with no redeeming values (it's a sugar and fat bomb). But it's pure comfort food, and it'll be enjoyed quickly if you happen to make it. Buttercream Frosted Pumpkin Cake Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1½ cups granulated sugar 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp. WHOLE MILK PANNA COTTA Whole Milk Panna Cotta. Lightly oil 6 ½-cup ramekins, place on a rimmed baking sheet. Pour ½ cup of the milk into a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin on top, let soften for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in a tall saucepan, heat remaining milk, sugar, honey, vanilla, and salt over medium-high, to a simmer. Take off heat, whisk in gelatin mixturethoroughly.
SWEET AND HOT PICKLED GREEN BEANS Sweet and Hot Pickled Green Beans. Ingredients: 2½ pounds fresh green beans; 1 medium red bell pepper (about ½ pound) 6 cloves freshgarlic, peeled

Rhubarb Honey Jam. Ingredients: 4 cups cooked rhubarb (measured after cooking, see below) ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (1 large) 1 cup raw honey; 2 tsp calcium water SWEET PICKLED ONION RINGS Sweet Pickled Onion Rings. Ingredients: 3 pounds small onions (2-3″ size) 2½ cups granulated sugar, preferably organic; 1 Tbsp mustard seeds; 1 tsp pickling salt PANKO BAKED SALMON PATTIES Panko Baked Salmon Patties. Ingredients: 2 14.75 ounce cans skinless and boneless salmon, drained; 1 cup panko bread crumbs; 1 Tbsp dried parsley; ¼ cup diced red onion SMALL BATCH CANNING: SALSA Salsa. Ingredients: 6 pounds fresh tomatoes, finely diced, 13½ cups measured; 9 Tbsp apple cider vinegar (5% acidity) ¾ cup Fiesta Salsa Mix (shake well before measuring); Directions: Wash canning jars, with bands and new lids, in hot, soapy water. SMALL BATCH CANNING: SPICED APPLES Heat sugar and water in a large pot to a boil over medium-high heat. Add in drained apples, return to a boil, simmer very gently for 5 minutes, until heated. Drain jars using tongs, place on a clean kitchen towel. Layer in apples to the top of the jars, then a THE FRUSTRATION OF MOLDY GLUTEN FREE BREAD This year our youngest son, Alistaire, was tested again and his egg allergy has cleared up. It’s one of the few food allergies children can grow out of. So we were excited, as it meant he could have Franz Gluten Free Bread, especially the Mountain White. However, we learned some painful (and expensive) lessons quickly. BARLEY IN A PASTA SAUCE? COME ON IN! Stir in the wine, letting it cook off till very thick. Slowly add in the broth, stirring till smooth, then add the cooked barley. Bring to a boil, lower to medium-low and let cook for 15 minutes and thickened. Meanwhile cook your pasta as directed and do a quick drain. Add the pasta to the sauce and toss to combine.GAZING IN

So you are paying for salt and MSG and very, very tiny amount of dry buttermilk. Now then, they tell you to prepare the dressing with buttermilk. Mae a small divot, add the yeast in it. Set for a standard loaf of wheat bread. If you have a large enough bread machine (2 pound capacity), just follow the method for adding ingredients that it callsfor.
CRUNCHY CHIPS FROM THE DEHYDRATOR Wash and dry carrots. Then thinly slice carrots. In a bowl mix carrots, salt, melted coconut oil and cinnamon. Place carrots in a single layer on Excalibur dehydrator trays. Dry at 125º F for 6 to 10 hours or until carrots become crisp. Let carrot chips cool to room temperature and then store in an airtight container. CANNING BLENDER SALSA One difference is I made mine with nearly all White Cherry Tomatoes, which are a pale yellow in color. It is a mellow, sweet flavor. Just don’t change the lemon juice and citric acid levels in salsa recipes, and you can use any tomato that looks good.GAZING IN
