The budget was unanimously adopted after a UTILITY CUSTOMER SERVICE Timely Payments If the town does not receive your payment by the due date, a $5 late fee is assessed and a courtesy notice is mailed to you. YARD DEBRIS AND LOOSE LEAF COLLECTION Yard Debris Yard debris service must be requested. Please complete the Yard Debris Form or call 919-552-1408 to request service. All requests for pick-up received by 5:00 pm on Monday will be scheduled for pick up that week.

This online community crime map analyzes crime data, alerts citizens about crimes in their area, and most importantly allows the Fuquay-Varina Police Department to quickly alert the public RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICE The Town provides bi-weekly curbside recycling collection. Once a voluntary program, recycling collection is now mandatory. Due to the State of North Carolina’s ban on cardboard, aluminum cans, and numbered plastics in the landfill, citizens are required to recycle or demonstrate how
SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS School’s almost out for the summer! That means the Town will host weekly-themed, camps beginning June 20 for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. TRANSPORTATION PLANNING The Town of Fuquay-Varina spends a great deal of time planning roadways. Adopted in July 2017, the 2035 Community Transportation Plan (Vol 1) and 2035 Community Transportation Plan (Vol 2) (CTP) directs the vision and steps for providing adequate transportation. The Town also participates in regional planning as a member of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO). GARBAGE COLLECTION SERVICE The town provides weekly curbside garbage collection to approximately 8,300 residential accounts and twice a week service to more than 220 commercial accounts. PUBLIC UTILITIES
The primary function of the Public Utilities Department is to maintain the town’s water and sewer infrastructure including all existing and new water and sewer lines to ensure that all applicable guidelines and regulations are met.
