Former Butlins Redcoat Suzy Bennett ‘accidentally’ won the 2006 Funny Women Awards on her sixth gig (her first gig was in the final of Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol) and has since been impressing audiences around the country and overseas with her warm, chatty style and hilarious stories. I love swimming and it has been a Godsend to have somewhere to get my fix during lockdown where there are no membership fees, lane-hoggers or Mansplashers (disclaimer, not all men are splashers but most splashers are men!).
