L'ATR 42 et sa version allongée, l'ATR 72, sont nés de l'alliance de deux constructeurs européens, le français Aérospatiale et l'italien Aeritalia

. A la fin des

années 70, le secteur des avions régionaux de l'ordre de 40 à 100 places intéresse particulièrement les constructeurs car il est en pleine expansion (surtout aux Etats-Unis) et ne bénéficie que d'appareils dépassés ou inadaptés. A l'image de ce qui se fait déjà pour Airbus, les deux constructeurs envisagent rapidement une coopération étroite. Une annonce officielle est faite par Aerospatiale le 11 juillet 1980 et l'affaire est conclue le 4 novembre 1980 avec la création de la société ATR (Avion de Transport Régional). Le projet est rapidement finalisé et il montre un avion combinant les études des deux constructeurs: ailes hautes, empennage en "T", cabine de 1,90m de hauteur et 2,50m de largeur, capacité d'une quarantaine de places avec une version allongée à 70 places programmée, autonomie en escale garantie par un système de blocage de l'hélice qui permet de faire tourner un moteur pour fournir le courant et l'air conditionné ("Mode Hotel"), rayon d'action de 1600 kilomètres ou de 5 rotation de 180 kilomètres, usage de matériaux composites. Pour le production, Aerospatiale et Aeritalia se répartissent les tâches sur les sites de Saint-Nazaire, Nantes,Toulouse et Naples: les ailes, le cockpit et l'assemblage final sont réalisés en France, le fuselage, l'empennage, les trains et les équipements cabines  en Italie. Le premier vol du prototype de l'ATR 42 a lieu le 16 août 1984 et la certification est obtenue le 24 septembre 1985. Le premier avion est livré à Air Littoral en décembre 1985. L'ATR 72 entre en

service en 1989.

En 1995, ATR entame une modernisation de ses avions en proposant une version "-500" pour ses ATR42 et 72. Les changements majeurs se trouvent au niveau de la motorisation, de l'hélice (six pales au lieu de quatre), du confort et l'insonorisation de la cabine. Par ailleurs, le constructeur se diversifie en offrant des versions militarisées de ses ATR: les ATR42-500MP et ATR72-500ASW de patrouille maritime. En 2007, une dernière évolution est annoncée. Cette version "-600" est dotée de moteurs plus performants et d'une avionique de dernière génération pour le poste de pilotage (Glass Cockpit). SCENERY MADEIRA X (FSX ONLY) Complete scenery of Madeira (Portugal) done with obvious love for the islands by a team of experts. This might not be the most obvious scenery add-on for many simmers but it is a stunning piece of work and a gateway to the Canary islands, or the Azores. Even western Africa can be explored. Just a few hours from the big western Europe airports you will find two islands waiting to be explored Recently the airport had to be expanded and the only way to make the runway longer was to extend them on a plateau supported by colums and putting the roads underneath. A complete unique runway was thus created. The other side of the runway has a curved approach path, at night lit by lead-in beacons. The airports are full with cars and other objects with all buildings done is exquisite detail. Not withstanding the high detail, the scenery is very fast due to meticulous optimizing of the raw code. This scenery was a big surprise in the offices of Aerosoft Online. Starting out as just one more product, we found ourselfs for several days exploring the islands and the airports. The basic fighter for most NATO countries for several decades, this aircraft deserved a place in FSX. For the last year Aerosoft has been working on a high detail model of this aircraft and now you will see the Fighting Falcon fly into the virtual world of FSX. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multirole jet fighter build by General Dynamics for the US Air Force. The lightweight fighter became the ubiquities fighter as it was exported to 25 nations and a record breaking production of over 4,400 aircraft. Updated every decade it remains the basic fighter for nations worldwide. Apart from being a very serious fighter it remains about the most enjoyable aircraft to fly with the superb maneuverability and power that allows vertical climbs. Visibility is unparalleled in the frameless bubble canopy. This enjoyment remains fully intact in FSX. The Aerosoft version includes the most used versions in the highest possible detail. With close to half a million vertices it most likely is the most detailed aircraft ever designed for FSX. The realism of this product is great that parts of the product are sold to professional users and is used in the first stages of training of pilots in 3 countries. Where other internally developed aircraft try to merge all existing models into one 'universal' model, the F-16 was designed with pure realism in mind, down to the smallest detail each of the 21 models is as the real aircraft patrols the skies. In FSX the F-16 is a joy to fly, with the controllability of a light aircraft and capable of altitudes of 50.000 feet and speeds exceeding Mach1. It is extremely agile yet easy to control (it will fly where you point the nose) it allows you to explore the environment of FSX like never

FLOTTE ROYAL AIR MAROC FSX Voici la flotte complète Royal Air Maroc (RAM) plus en supplément les flottes Atlas-Blue et Jet4you pour FSX. Ce pack a été optimisé pour des performances maximales sous FSX. Huit repaints (en plus des quatre autres) aussi réalistes que possible on été spécialement conçus pour ce pack. La flotte RAM compte en 2012 six modèles d'avions actifs, la flotte Atlas-Blue trois et la flotte Jet4you deux. Tout ces modèles sont présents dans ce pack ainsi que les repaints

associés.

Dans la liste des constructeurs (manufacturer) de FSX séléctionez "ROYAL AIR MAROC" ou "ATLAS-BLUE.COM" ou "JET4YOU.COM" pour afficher les avions disponibles. Une majorités des avions présents dans ce pack ne sont PAS COMPATIBLES AVEC DIRECTX 10, il est donc indispensable de désactiver cette fonction dans FSX, si vous ne savez pas comment vous y prendre merci de lire la FAQ .
