MY TOP TEN FAVOURITE SLIMMING WORLD RECIPES.... With me starting Slimming World this week, I thought I’d do a little round-up of my favourite Slimming World recipes tonight! These are all recipes that we’ve tried and tested over the years and loved by us all, which is why they made it on my list of favourites – I love meals that are Slimming World friendly AND family friendly! HOMEMADE TOILET BOMBS.... Instructions. Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl gently. Slowly mix in the essential oils, a couple of drops at a time making sure you stir your mix every time. Using a spray bottle filled with water start to add a little moisture to your mix. You need to be super careful here as you don't need much at all because too much will makethe

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all of your baking powder is in the container. Shake it as hard as you can to try and distribute the essential oils as evenly as possible. At this point, I tend to leave it overnight MILK JELLY LIKE YOUR NAN USED TO MAKE.... Instructions. This is so easy to make! Use 1/4 pint boiling water to dissolve your jelly cubes in a measuring jug. Leave the liquid to cool - if it's still warm when you add the milk then it will more than likely curdle and the jelly won't completely dissolve. LEFTOVERS INSPIRATION Homemade Paella and Oven baked risotto are two of my all time favourite meals but I always end up with leftovers so I’ve been experimenting with different ways to use up the leftovers. These are really simple to make as all you need to do is make golf ball sized balls using the leftover paella / THRIFTY HOMEMADE LINEN SPRAY 60ml Witch hazel. 180ml water. 30 (ish) drops of lavender essential oil. Mix everything together in your bottle and give it a good old shake! Spray in a fine mix over your bedding and towels to refresh them between washes. I spray morning when I get up IS A SLOW COOKER REALLY CHEAPER THAN YOUR OVEN.... One of the main areas that I saved money on when we first realised that we need to live a more frugal lifestyle was our food shopping and whenever anyone asks me what my top money saving tip is, I’ll ALWAYS say to start meal planning if you don’t already. Planning your meals is hands down the easiest way to start saving and HOMEMADE SHAKE N VAC.... Start by adding about a quarter of this amount into your container. Add in 3-5 drops of essential oil and give it a vigorous shake. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all of your baking powder is in the container. Batch cooking is something I promised myself I’d get better at this year so, on Saturday, I had my first batch cooking session in ages and now have twelve meals in our freezer ready to use – just think how much time that’s going to save me.. I’m so lucky to have the freezer space I do – we have one freezer as part of the fridge freezer, one under-counter freezer and one big freezer 50 AMAZING DATE NIGHT IDEAS.... SLIMMING WORLD SYN FREE PIZZA.... Pop the wrap onto a baking tray and pre-heat the oven to around 190 c. Spread the tomato puree over the top of the wrap and then add your toppings. Make sure you don’t add big chunks of anything as the wrap pizza cooks quite quickly so anything big won’t get chance to cook through. Sprinkle the cheese over the top of the pizza and pop it in MILK JELLY LIKE YOUR NAN USED TO MAKE.... Instructions. This is so easy to make! Use 1/4 pint boiling water to dissolve your jelly cubes in a measuring jug. Leave the liquid to cool - if it's still warm when you add the milk then it will more than likely curdle and the jelly won't completely dissolve. Last week was a bit of an odd week as I was working a late shift at work during the week so I wasn't at home to cook. I also didn't write a proper meal plan (I know, I'm hanging my head in shame) because I was away in London at the weekend and felt very bleugh when I got home. Mr Frugal waited until I got home for his tea and was on lates himself 3 out of the 5 nights so the kids had to mainly fend for themselves which I would absolutely expect them to be able to do at their age (17 and 14). Let's see how they got on...
