Designer Jan Klingler is nominated for the design prize Formex Nova. With his unique bacterial lamp inspired by microbiology, he has captured the jury's attention. JUKKA JOKINEN AND HEIKKI KONU Jukka Jokinen and Heikki Konu are two Helsinki based industrial designers, driven by experimental and material oriented design methods. They have developed the multi glass serie that is based on a new kind of modular glass blowing mold. VALDÍS STEINARSDÓTTIR Valdís Steinarsdóttir is an Icelandic designer. She graduated from the Iceland University of Arts in 2017, specializing in product design. She works as an independent designer, mainly focusing on material experiments by recycling organic material. LINDFORM AT FORMEX
Lindform is the family company that has become synonymous with beautiful vases in Scandinavian design. During the fair in January, they displayed the STAM collection, created together with the interior stylist and photographer Daniella Witte. KLÄSSBOLS LINEN MILL AT FORMEX As a representative of the Swedish industrial arts and crafts tradition, Klässbols was an obvious choice for designers Carina Seth-Andersson and Matti Klenell when they hand-picked producers for the interior of the new National Museum in Stockholm, for which Klässbols has produced upholstery fabrics and draperies designed by Jonas Lindvall for the museum café. KUEEN AND STATEMENT BY LANN During Formex in January, the two brands Kueen and Statement by Lann showcased their first joined collection, saluting periods.
