There’s a children’s time early in the worship service and following that, children can leave the sanctuary for supervised activities during the remainder of the worship service. From 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday nights, we gather for prayer in the sanctuaryusing
FOOD — FIRST CONGO Cafe Congo. Cafe Congo is a weekday lunch program. Monday through Friday, from 11:00 - 1:00, folks come by for a hot lunch. We serve about 600 people each week in a beautiful area we renovated with the help of church volunteers and gifts! Food is donated by local restaurants and schools, or prepared by volunteers using food from theMidsouth

First Congregational was founded over 150 years ago by people who believed that slavery was wrong, that women could preach and that Christians could change the world through the power of God's love. First Congregational was founded over 150 years ago by people who believed that slavery was wrong, that women could preach and that Christians could change the world through the power of God's love. OUR CLASSES AND MINISTRIES Blessed Bees. We have three beehives that we use to teach about bees, to show support for bees as they struggle for survival, to help pollinate our raised bed garden -- and we get wonderful honey, harvested several times a year by an enthusiastic team of volunteers, learning together and led by Keith Norman.
