The proceedings have been criticised by the UN and the European Parliament as well as by many companies, civil society organisations and trade unions, especially for the “chilling effect” they have had on people researching working conditions in supply chains in Thailand. ANDY HALL FOUND GUILTY IN A SHOCK RULING BY BANGKOK COURT Andy Hall found guilty in a shock ruling by Bangkok court. Andy Hall arriving to Bangkok South Criminal Court earlier today. In light of the evidence presented to the court during the trial, the sentence was unexpected. The Court found Andy Hall guilty for all charges, sentenced him to prison for four years and ordered him to pay 150 000baht fine.

Finnwatchin arvio: Suomi menettänyt 90 miljoonaa euroa Carunan ja Elenian verovälttelyn vuoksi Finnwatch tarkastelee tänään julkaistussa tutkimusartikkelissaan Suomen suurimpien sähkönsiirtoyhtiöiden verojärjestelyjä. Finnwatchin arvion mukaan Suomi on niiden vuoksi menettänyt viimeisen viiden vuoden aikana noin 90 miljoonaa euroa verotuloja. #korkovähennysrajoitus #Caruna#Elenia
