I've managed to squeeze the drive motors inside the drive belt for the weapon, so hopefully weight distribution shouldn't be to big an issue. ANTWEIGHT BRUSHED ESCS Google-fu is failing me, fellow roboteers. While I'm well aware that Rory has his very nice DSM based setup and I'm sure it works for many.. I don't want a full setup of bits all ready to go as that just removes half the fun. I'm aware that Dimension Engineering make a very nice 2x5A controller - but I paid less for my featherweight brushless controllers (TZ85As) and I'm pretty convinced FIRE EXTINGUISHER THREAD Seems to have similar fittings to the plumbing I've worked with from Jewsons. (builders merchants) It might be worth checking the website or your local store before taking a gamble with the internet, but then again I could be completely wrong. Is there any tangible difference between Hardox 400 and 500 for our applications? I am looking at this both from an armour standpoint and for a large ring spinner. For armour obviously, the 500 will be much harder to machine, but is the extra strength worth the hassle? The sides are 12mm UMHW, and there will be a thrust bearing on either side. Option 1 (Current design pictured below) – ANTWEIGHT BRUSHED ESCS Google-fu is failing me, fellow roboteers. Let's get started. Step 1. I made the base out of 1.2mm aluminium to cut it I used a hack saw. I marked out an 90mm x 110mm rectangle. I then marked 10 mm from the 90mm edge and foldedboth sides.
