Welcome to Collingwood Children’s Farm! The Farm is many things to many people but what we aren’t is a park or a zoo – please don’t expect a petting zoo experience. We’re a thriving non-profit Community Farm in the heart of the city – a place to learn, explore, spend time in nature and connect with community. WINTER SOLSTICE BONFIRE WINTER SOLSTICE BONFIRE 2021. Like a phoenix from the ashes, the Winter Solstice Bonfire will rise again this year. Collingwood Children’s Farm’s famous annual bonfire was cancelled due to Covid-19 in 2020 but it’s back on June 26th this year to thrill and delight thousands of families.COMMUNITY GARDENS
Initial works to clear the hazards from the site and make it safe will be completed as soon as is practicable. The River Corridor. A corridor of bush grows along the Yarra. The river red gums, silver wattles and manna gums thrive on the supply of water. They provide shelter for brushtail possums, bats and irregular visitors such as the azure kingfisher and the swift parrot.FARMERS MARKET

Your Farm Membership fee helps us to care for our animals, conserve these heritage farmlands and fund inclusive farm programs, supporting people experiencing adversity. The Farm’s Committee of Management (CoM) provides strategic direction and oversees its management on a voluntary basis. When you want to experience the buzz of live bees, come and visit the Collingwood Children’s Farm Apiary. The apiary aims to educate the public about bees and beekeeping, as well as providing beekeeping advice and practice to current and prospectivebeekeepers.

Established in 1979 the Collingwood Children’s Farm is a not-for-profit community resource providing country experiences for city people. The Farm’s Committee of Management (CoM) provides strategic direction and oversees its management on a voluntary basis.OUR HISTORY
The River Corridor. A corridor of bush grows along the Yarra. The river red gums, silver wattles and manna gums thrive on the supply of water. They provide shelter for brushtail possums, bats and irregular visitors such as the azure kingfisher and the swift parrot.
