We're super excited for the return of the softball season! To ensure the safest season possible, we need you to familiarise yourself with the Victorian Softball Return to Community Participation Guidelines - COVID-19 Safe Plan 2020-21. You can find the current Victorian Softball Return to Community Participation Guidelines here 👉 https://vic.softball.org.au/covid-19-info/ Please note that this document includes requirements for both competition games and also training.

It's IMPORTANT that you read this document before participating in / attending softball this season. Some key points include the following (NOTE: you still need to read the document in full to comply!): • All players/officials/spectators must sign in on arrival using the QR Code that is displayed around the grounds • No spectators are allowed, with the exception of one parent / guardian for junior players under 18 years of age • There is strictly to be no sharing of personal items and equipment such as water bottles, food, towels and clothing • Equipment including bats, gloves and helmets may be shared but must be sanitised between uses using antibacterial wipes • Everyone over 12 must wear a mask at all times except when actively involved in the session i.e. batting, pitching, fielding &
running
• Attendees must bring their own hand sanitiser and use it on arrival and then subsequently at 30 minute intervals • Social distancing must be complied with - no high fives, handshakes or physical contact at all • Regular cleaning of the WSA facilities will occur as per WSA COVID

It's expected that the above guidelines document and any others supplied by SV or WSA will be updated frequently throughout the 2020-21 season. We will also provide them to you. 🚨WSA SENIOR COMPETITION UPDATE🚨 Waverley Softball Association wishes to advise that due to ground access for senior contact competitive sport we will be unable... to commence our season on 28/11/2020 as originally planned. We understand this may be frustrating, however we know that the week delay will put us in a good position to start the season safely for
all involved
Our new start date is 5/12/2020. This is for senior competition at WSA only not for SEMR. Please pass this information onto your senior players and your umpire groups. Thank you for your patience and we will see you at the ballpark in a few weeks 💙🤍❤️
