Business community invited to contribute to the Estonia 100 centenary celebrations There a three major ways that businesses can contribute to the Estonia 100 programme: ESTONIA 100 LOGO AND ITS USE Companies could use the Estonia 100 logo on a product in exchange for a donation to an Estonia 100 gift or event from the sales revenue from the product. Companies could choose one of the gifts on the Estonia 100 website or create a gift or event of their own. Any initiative that brings joy and helps create a better future for Estonians was ESTONIA 100: A PARTY IN EVERY VILLAGE On that given day, everyone will be welcome to the party. The hosting community will demonstrate its local achievements, and guests will be served refreshments and provided with entertainment. It would be great if each and every party offered a chance to do something memorable together for the celebrations. After the party, the hosting community will pass the baton to the next town or village.

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH LANGUAGE FESTIVAL The First International Festival for high school and freshmen university students will be held in Narva-Joesuu. It is orginised by the board of the IOL (International Olympiad in Linguistics, www.ioling.org).The programme will consist of several series of presentations of languages of the world (Estonian included) led by professional linguists from different countries aiming at showing the SIZE DOESN’T MATTER “Size Doesn’t Matter” travelling exhibition will be exhibited during Design Week in London The Estonian Association of Designers (EDL) has developed the concept of “Size Doesn’t Matter”, which contrasts the small size of the country, the high number of designers, and the abundance of achievements, in order to introduce Estonian design in foreign countries. ESTONIA 100 APP BRINGS TOGETHER EVERYONE WHO CARRIES The app, which was created for the Estonia 100 centenary celebrations, creates digital links between people all over the world who carry Estonia in their hearts. FINLAND’S 100TH ANNIVERSARY BEGINS WITH THE CREATION OF A On Wednesday 6 December, the Republic of Finland celebrates its centenary and the festive celebration in Tallinn begins at 8.45 am at the Finnish Embassy. At the joint singing ceremony, the Finnish anthem will be sung, led by conductor Aarne Saluveer, and the live broadcast of the singing will reach television audiences in Finland and Estonia. HAMILTON ESTONIAN SOCIETY ANNIVERSARY BALL The event is a ball to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Estonia's independence. It is being organized by the Hamilton Estonian Society (Hamilton, ON Canada).

A NEW AND UNIQUE 'EESTI' TULIP VARIETY During the State Visit of His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands to Estonia in June 2018, a newly cultivated tulip variety developed as a Dutch contribution to the Estonian centenary celebrations was officially named 'Eesti'. SEE WHICH PLACES MADE IT ON THE LIST OF THE HUNDRED The kaleboats of lake Võrtsjärv gained the most votes at the public vote organised for finding the hundred treasures of Estonia that ended on Monday, second most popular was the Põltsamaa castle and the third was the Haapsalu railway station.

LIISES RUN IN RUHNU

Liises run in Ruhnu is a 3 day event in the middle of the Gulf of Riga. AASTAPÄEVA TÄHISTAMINE ON LÕPPENUD Eesti riigi 100. juubelit tähistati 2017. a aprillist kuni 2. veebruarini 2020.  Kolme aasta jooksul toimus üle 3100 sündmuse ja Eesti inimesed tegid oma kogukondadele üle 1500 kingituse. Vabariigi 100. sünnipäeva tähistati Vastseliinast Washingtonini. Veebileht www.ev100.ee on avatud 2020. a lõpuni ja seda aktiivselt enam ei uuendata. Kõigil kasutajatel on võimalik kuni 1. oktoobrini 2020 teha veebilehel muudatusi, pärast seda ei ole veebilehele sisse logimine ja muudatuste tegemine enam võimalik.
