MEET OUR NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS The Eurachem general Assembly in May 2020 saw the appointment of two new Executive Committee (EC) members - Michael Koch, from Germany, and Riin Rebane from Estonia - and the handover of the Eurachem Secretariat from Francesca Rolle (Italy) to Elena Sanchez(UK).

NEW GERMAN TRANSLATION OF "TRACEABILITY IN CHEMICAL MEASUREMENT" Thanks to the work of our colleagues in Eurolab Germany, Eurachem has issued a new German translation of the 2nd edition of the Eurachem/CITAC Guide "Traceability in Chemical Measurement". The Guide is intended to help meet the requirements on traceability of results given in ISO/IEC 17025. It give principles and detailed guidance on establishing metrological traceability in chemical analysis. Although the guide aimed principally at testing and measurement laboratories, the principles are expected to apply from routine analysis to basic research. Download the Guide here >>*

Organised by Eurachem colleagues in the Czech Republic, the workshop will discuss experience with the revised ISO 17025:2017, present current Eurachem activities in the field of analytical QA, and discuss future challenges from both research and practical perspectives.
