About me. Hi, I’m Laura AKA the Eternal Expat. In the last 11 years, I’ve lived in six different countries and traveled to countless more. Hours: Daily 8:30am-8pm. This is another of the best restaurants in San Jose del Cabo for seafood tacos. The best thing about Clar Fish Jr is how close it is to the downtown and to the beach. La Crucecita to Bahia Maguey, one of the beaches that is furthest away, costs about 70 Pesos (about $3.50 USD). The taxis do not have meters, there is just a set price for each journey. Mexico City has so much history, so much past to learn about. It’s also incredibly accessible to do so. DRINKING WATER IN MEXICO: WHEN TO AVOID IT & ALTERNATIVE It’s not as easy as a normal straw. You also can’t let the filter dry out. If it dries out, it has to sit and soak in water again for almost 24 hours before it will work again. TODOS SANTOS MEXICO: A COMPLETE GUIDE Todos Santos Mexico is a gorgeous little Pueblo Magico in the desert of Baja California Sur. We took the bus from La Paz to Todos Santos, which takes about an hour and 15 minutes and I wasn’t entirely sure we’d actually arrived. It was as though a few stores had materialized out of nowhere. This is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Condesa and perhaps even one of the best restaurants in Mexico City overall.. It focuses on Baja California style food, a state in Mexico that is close to the coast and even closer to the best vineyards in the country. WHAT TO PACK FOR MEXICO: 2021 UPDATE This is especially true if you’re traveling through mountain areas in Mexico like Mexico City, Puebla, or San Miguel de Allende. 7. I probably don’t shop with Asos that much anymore simply because the returns don’t work the same as they do back in the US or UK (posting things is a huge hassle around where I live), but if I’m planning a beach vacation, I’ll always grab a few pieces on Asos to take with me. One of the reasons that the metro is one of the most popular modes of transport around the city is because it’s so cheap. One ticket costs only 5 Pesos (which is roughly 23¢). Two weeks in Japan, a week in Taiwan, two more weeks learning to dive in the Philippines, a month in Vietnam, a month in Cambodia, a month in Thailand, and a month in Laos.
