Window treatments can be expensive, and when we moved into our home a year ago there was not a single window covering in sight. I used a bit from my new Bosch Daredevil Standard Spade Bit Set. These bits offer 10x faster drilling speed, have a fully threaded cone tip, reamer edges, and a waved patterndesign for speed.

I ordered them from Pretty Pegs and used the “Carl 120” legs in Ash natural, which I painted to match the dresser. As I was attaching ribbon trim to my lamp shade with my glue gun the other day, and failing miserably because I was using satin ribbon and you could see every little glue bump and lump underneath, I IKEA TARVA DRESSER HACK Step 5. I attached the new Mid-Century style legs using the metal plates that they came with. I ordered them from Pretty Pegs and used the “Carl 120” legs in Ash natural, which I painted to match the dresser.
